Statesboro Police Arrests

Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests   
    Richard Lee Martin Jr., 31, Kendricks Road, Brooklet — probation violation.
    
Georgia State Patrol Arrests
    Troopers issued 14 citations Monday for traffic violations.
    
Georgia Southern University Arrests
        Matthew Thomas Duke, 18,  Kennedy Hall — entering auto.
    Kevin Michael Van Kirk, 20,  Kennedy Hall — entering auto.
    Officers issued four traffic citations Monday.
        
Statesboro Police Incidents   
    FOXRIDGE APARTMENTS — A woman said someone  took cigarettes and coins wrapped in a towel from her home. The items were recovered outside the building.
    ST. JAMES PLACE —  A man told police someone took $300 from his home and he suspected it was an ex-girlfriend.
    ENZONE — A woman said a man calls continuously harassing her about the whereabouts of her best friend, who is the mother of the caller's child.
    SOUTH COLLEGE STREET — A woman said she was sitting across from a convenience store when another female exited a car and threatened "I'm going to get you."
                
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents   
    C. SCOTT ROAD — (Statesboro) A woman said a man bought all but two acres of a tract of land from her. She said he had people clearing the land and  they cleared her two acres as well, taking several vehicles containing old tools she inherited from her father.
    SEED TICK ROAD — (Pembroke) A woman said a Springfield woman came onto her property and  tore down a mobile home. The offender insists she still owns the property but the complainant actually owns it now, she said. The offender returns every week.
    GRANDMA'S ATTIC — (Statesboro) A woman reported a burglary, listing a Brunswick woman, a Sinkhole Road man and a man living at the Budget Inn as the offenders.    Stolen were sterling flatware, shark's teeth, a match striker, Donald Duck straws, Dino dinosaur soap, a snuff jar, salt and pepper shakers, a Civil War era bottle, an arrow head, three decks of cards, a coin case, toy cap gun, antique buttons and tokens and other items.
    MOBLEY DRIVE — (Statesboro) A woman told deputies she and a man argued verbally.
    COLEY BOYD ROAD — A man told deputies he has repeatedly warned a man to stop fishing in his pond, but the offender continues to do so.
    MEMORY LANE — (Statesboro) A man said someone took two checks from him and forged them.
    BEAVER CREEK SUBDIVISION — (Register) A woman said her estranged husband waited for her with his car lights turned off and followed her to a gas station, where he tried to see his child without her permission.
    BURKHALTER ROAD — (Statesboro) Deputies responded to a domestic dispute between parents and their son.
    MILLER STREET EXTENSION — (Statesboro) A man told deputies a woman from whom he rented refused to return his property although he was paid up.
    PLANTATION TRAIL — (Statesboro) A man said he and his juvenile stepson were involved in a physical fight.
    
Georgia State Patrol Incidents   
    Troopers issued 14 warnings, assisted eight motorists and investigated two crashes with one reported injury Monday.
    
Georgia Southern University Incidents
     COLLEGE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY — A textbook was taken from the building.
    HENDERSON LIBRARY — Copper wire was taken from the  construction site.
    Officers issued six traffic warnings, investigated three traffic accidents, assisted one motorist and responded to one fire alarm Monday.

    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Monday:
    Statesboro Fire Department — six calls.
    Bulloch County Volunteer firefighters — three calls.

    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Sunday:
    Bulloch County EMS — one accident call, one fire call and eight medical calls.   
    Candler County EMS — one accident call and one medical call.  
    Evans County EMS — three medical calls.    
    Central 911 operators also routed  a call to Georgia Forestry, a call to Bryan County 911 and a call to Screven County 911 Sunday.
    
    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Monday:
    Bulloch County EMS — two accident calls, three fire calls and 19 medical calls.   
    Candler County EMS — three medical calls.  
    Evans County EMS — two medical calls.    
    Central 911 operators also routed  a call to Beaufort County and a call to Ware County.
