Statesboro Police Incidents
PARRISH STREET – Officers noticed a driver with a defective tailight at a routine traffic stop. The motorist ignored the officer's signal lights, and the officers were not able to stop the driver of the vehicle.
N. COLLEGE STREET – Officers responded to a domestic dispute between a woman and her son. The woman told officers she told her son to get out of her car, but he was able to get another ride to her home. When officers questioned her son, he gave them a false name and was arrested for giving false information.
ROGERS ROAD – A man reported two suspicious people were riding down the street late and night and early the next morning, and parking in the cul-de-sac near his house.
DEER ROAD – A man reported an improperly parked trailer on his property. Officers responded to the call and called a towing company to remove the trailer. As the trailer was being towed, the owner if the trailer arrived at the scene and told the towing company to have the trailer towed to an automotive repair shop.
LANIER DRIVE – Officers responded to a woman reporting harassing phone calls. She said the calls were coming from another woman who formerly had a relationship with a male friend.
SPRINGDALE ROAD – A woman reported that a dog had broken a window in her home and had escaped her house. Officers responded and caught the dog, placing it in the fenced-in backyard.
LANIER DRIVE – Officers responded to a call from a woman saying someone had thrown eggs on her car.
JAMES STREET – A woman reported she and her juvenile son had gotten into an argument and the juvenile had left the house without her permission. A juvenile complaint form was signed by the woman.
ZETTEROWER STREET – Officers responded to a woman who reported receiving harassing phone calls at work. She told the officers that she had terminated an employee earlier in the week and the former employee was calling and demanding her job back.
PACKINGHOUSE ROAD – A man reported receiving harassing phone calls from a woman threatening to damage his car and injure him.
NORTHSIDE DRIVE – A rental car company reported that three renters had returned their cars late and owed the company payment for the extra days. Officers advised the manager of the business to contact magistrate court.
VALLEY ROAD – Officers responded to a man reporting damage to his car. The man said his tires had be slashed and scratched and vulgar words had been written on the vehicle.
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents
CHANCE'S MOBILE HOME PARK – (Clito) A woman told deputies that her father had thrown a glass at her mother and starting spinning her around in her wheelchair and hit her in her eye. The woman confirmed her daughter's story and said she was scared of the man and believed that he could and would kill her. The man was arrested and taken to jail.
MITCHELL RIDGON ROAD – (Statesboro) A man reported that his laptop computer was stolen, and he suspected his nephew of taking it. Deputies questioned the man's nephew, who said he did not have the computer.

Troopers issued seven warnings, and investigated two crashes with one injury Wednesday.

EAGLE VILLAGE – Officers responded to someone reporting simple battery.
Officers issued three traffic warnings and one traffic citation, investigated two traffic accidents, assisted four motorists, one sick person, one injured person and responded to one fire alarm.
