Statesboro Police Arrests    
    Sarah Felicia Rock, 17, Mike Brannen Road — felony obstruction of a law enforcement officer.
    Arrion Chavez Lanier, 18, Joyce Street — giving false information.
    Megan Virginia Reese, 19, Lanier Drive — conspiracy to distribute Xanax, giving false statements.
    James Batley, 38, Barrington Road, Pooler — second offense DUI, following too closely, driving with a suspended license, seat belt violation.
    Katherine Annalynn Powell, 19, Brannen Lake Road — leaving the scene of an accident, improper backing.
    Jacqueline Patrice Perkins,25, Morris Street — second offense driving with a suspended license.
    Maurice Von Middleton, 35,  West Inman Street — driving with a suspended license, defective brake lights.
                
Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests   
    Martha Elaine Anderson, 40, Hillwood Drive — truancy.
    Caroline Young Burney, 46, Ivanhoe Road, Brooklet — terroristic threats.
    Don Tracy Brown, 36, Ga. 119 Connector, Brooklet — simple battery.
    William Starling Fail Jr., 44, Stilson-Leefield Road, Brooklet — simple battery.
    
Georgia State Patrol Arrests
    Sarah Crews, 22, Greenbriar Apartments — DUI (pending test results).
    David N. Heath II,25,  Dry Branch Village, Register — DUI (pending test results).
    Troopers issued 13 traffic violation citations Wednesday.
    
Georgia Southern University Arrests
      Nicholas Blake Lanois, 19, Olliff Hall — underage possession/consumption of alcohol, possession of marijuana and possession of a false I.D.
    Officers issued three traffic citations Wednesday.
    
Statesboro Police Incidents   
    MILL CREEK PARK — Police responded to a fight arrested a 17-year-old girl and a juvenile who struck an officer.        
    BROAD STREET — A man said someone took a wallet from his vehicle.
    RALPH'S DINER — Someone forcibly entered the building and took $77.
    FAIR ROAD/HERTY DRIVE — Officers responded to a reported fight between people in a vehicle. The occupants said the were only arguing.
    FOXRIDGE APARTMENTS — A woman reported the theft of a cigarette case with cigarettes and $10 cash from a kitchen table.
    GREEN STREET — A woman said a female stalks her and harasses her over the offender's ex-husband.
    CAMBRIDGE AT SOUTHERN — An officer responded to a report of two men fighting.
    CAMPUS CLUB APARTMENTS — Someone stole steaks, lunch meat and flip flops from an apartment.
    LANIER DRIVE — A man said six men accused him of stealing from his roommate, and threatened him and said t hey were taking items from him in retaliation. They took $120 cash and an Ipod radio.
    PARK PLACE APARTMENTS — A woman said her ex-boyfriend slapped her and accused her of dating his friend.
    RUCKER LANE — A man reported the theft of  a SK-S rifle.
        
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents   
    EAST GEORGIA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER — (Statesboro) A woman told deputies she and her father argued over her children when she approached him about some of her property.
    EAGLE ESTATES MOBILE HOME PARK  — (U.S. 301 North, Statesboro)A woman said a man followed her home from a convenience store and asked for her p hone number. He gave her his number, which she took, but she noticed a knife in his vehicle and became suspicious.
    OLD REGISTER WAY — (Register) A man said his brother-in-law calls him and threatened him.
    VIRACON — (Statesboro) A man called 911 over an argument he and a coworker were having at work.
    ANDERSON ROAD — (Statesboro) A woman said someone damaged a door trying to break in.
    AUDIO DYNAMIC — (Statesboro) A man said someone shoplifted a display speaker.
    
Georgia State Patrol Incidents   
    Troopers issued 26 warnings and investigated two crashes with five reported injuries Wednesday.
    
Georgia Southern University Incidents
    SOUTHERN COURTYARD — A case of CDs and a flashlight were taken from a vehicle in the parking lot.
    RECREATION ACTIVITY CENTER — Someone reported a credit card  taken.
    KENNEDY HALL — An I-pod was taken from a vehicle in the parking lot.
    Officers  investigated one traffic accident, assisted nine motorists and one injured person, and responded to three fire alarms Wednesday.
   
Animal Shelter Reports
    The Statesboro-Bulloch County Animal Shelter reported the following activity between March 19-25, according to shelter manager Wendy Joiner:
    Animals received:
    Surrendered by citizens — five dogs, four cats.
    Animals in litters — 13 puppies, 13 kittens.
    Bulloch Humane Enforcement — 18 dogs and a cat.
    Statesboro Animal Control — four cats.
    Animals out:
    Shelter adoptions — nine dogs and a cat.
    Humane Society adoptions — two dogs.
    Euthanized — 19 dogs, seven cats.
    Miscellaneous calls:
    Deer — one
    Raccoon — one
    Summons/citations — 19
    Warnings — 11
    Money received:
    Adoption fees — $350
    Surrender fees — $20

    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Wednesday:
    Bulloch County Sheriff's Department — 12 calls.
    Statesboro Police Department — 16 calls.
    Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — four calls.
    Candler County Sheriff's Department — five calls.

    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Wednesday:
    Bulloch County Volunteer firefighters — three calls.
    Metter Fire Department — three calls.
    Claxton Fire Department — three calls.

    Bulloch County EMS — two accident calls and six medical calls.   
    Candler County EMS — three medical calls.  
    Evans County EMS — one medical call.
