Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests           

            William Scott Burnett, 20, Olympic Boulevard —  battery, criminal trespass, disorderly conduct.

           

Georgia State Patrol Arrests

            Troopers issued 35 traffic violation citations Sunday.

            Edwin Shuman, 38, Shuman Road, Brooklet — DUI (pending test results).

            Michael Moore, 30, Burkhalter Road — DUI (.165).

            Louis Sikes, 44, Allen Sikes Road, Claxton — DUI (.086).

Statesboro Police Incidents      

            Arrest incidents will be reported Wednesday.

           

Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents        

            SYDNEY CHASE — (Statesboro) A man told deputies another man damaged some property. However, a responding deputy did not give details in a report he submitted.

            SIMMONS MILL POND — (Brooklet) A man reported the theft of a Bass Tracker boat.

            PRETORIA RUSHING ROAD — (Statesboro) A man said another man he knew only as "Jose" beat him up at a trailer park near his home. The victim said he was visiting some people, drinking beer, and he suddenly found himself being beaten up. He suffered a broken nose and EMS took him to the hospital,

            MILLER STREET EXTENSION — (Statesboro) A man said his wife, from whom he is separated, came to his home and started a fight with him and his new female friend.

            LONGWOOD DRIVE — ( Statesboro) A woman said she and a man engaged in a domestic dispute. The responding deputy did not include any details of the incident in a brief report.

            WEST WATERS LANE — (Clito) A  woman told deputies her son was unruly and mouthy and broke a picture frame. He denied being intoxicated but a sobriety test proved otherwise. The boy then admitted getting the alcohol from a neighboring juvenile.

            REEDY BRANCH ROAD — (Brooklet)  A woman said her son-in-law, who lives in a camper behind her home came to her home to get his wife to return to him. The complainant said she knew he had been drinking and refused to open the door to him, expecting problems if she did. The man then kicked in her door, breaking it, came inside and ordered his wife to come home. The man later told deputies he just "pushed on the door and it popped open." He was arrested.

            CROSS CREEK FARM — (Brooklet) A man told deputies someone stole a handgun during a burglary.

            BURKHALTER ROAD — (Statesboro) A woman said her child's father would not return their child on time and said he would do so when he " got ready."

            LAKEVIEW ROAD — (Statesboro) A man said his former girlfriend has his boat and a 2005 GMC Envoy he owns and will not return them.

            GA. 46 — A man reported the theft of a gold 1996 Ford Crown Victoria.

            DRY BRANCH VILLAGE — (Register) A woman told deputies a man struck her face and threw a level at her, hitting her in the arm. Her granddaughter saw the incident.

                       

Georgia State Patrol Incidents  

            Troopers issued 28 warnings, assisted three motorists and investigated two crashes with two reported injuries Sunday.

            Brooklet Police — two calls.

            Candler County Sheriff's Department — nine calls.

            Evans County Sheriff's Department — three calls.

            Claxton Police Department — two calls.

           

911 Fire Department Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Saturday:

            Statesboro Fire Department — two calls.

            Bulloch County volunteer firefighters — one calls.

            Metter Fire Department — two calls.

            Hagan Fire Department — one call.

                       

911 EMS Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following call Saturday:

            Bulloch County EMS — two accident calls and 19 medical calls.  

            Candler County EMS — two accident calls. 

            Evans County EMS — four medical calls.   

            Central 911 operators also routed  four calls to Bulloch County Correctional Institute, two calls to the Bulloch County coroner's office and one call each to the following: Bulloch County First Responders, Bryan County 911, Screven County 911, Excelsior EMS, Georgia Power, Tattnall County 911 .
