Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests   
    Toriano Adarius Blackmon, 27, Pamela Way — battery (family violence), cruelty to children, third degree cruelty to children, obstructing or hindering persons making an emergency telephone call, marijuana possession with intent to distribute.
    Christopher Lee Jordan, 26, Harvey Drive — reckless conduct.
    Tad Michael Sample, 30, U.S. 301 South — driving with a revoked or suspended license, no insurance, improperly displayed license plate (obscured).

Statesboro Police Incidents   
    DURDEN RENTALS — A man failed to return a mini backhoe he rented and the company has not received responses from attempts to contact him.
    SOUTH COLLEGE STREET — A man and woman argued, and she grabbed his necklace, breaking it.
    In a separate incident, a police officer stopped a man and asked to speak to him. The man fled, leaving behind a bicycle and a cell phone.
    WESTSIDE GOLD AND PAWN — A man threatened an employee, swung at him and picked up a chair as if to strike him, angry over an argument about speakers.
    NORTH COLLEGE STREET — A man said someone entered his home and took a Play Station 3 game console and a related video game cartridge.
            
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents   
    HENDRIX CIRCLE — (Statesboro) Deputies were investigating a theft by taking and a man they were questioning became angry when a woman assisted them. Visibly intoxicated, he shoved the woman and deputies arrested him.
    BROOKLET-DENMARK ROAD — (Brooklet) A woman said she and a man argued over money and the  man grabbed a 12 gauge shotgun and swung it against the floor, breaking it. Then he yelled at her and made her believe he would hit her, she said. Two witnesses tried to stop the altercation but ended up calling 911. The man was gone when deputies arrived but returned and was arrested.
    KENNEDY BRIDGE ROAD — (Register) A woman said she and her sister were arguing over music CDs.
    CAROLINA TRAIL — (Statesboro) A woman said a female she knows only by the name "Wanda" picks on her and points at her, laughing, every time they meet in public.
    WEST WATERS LANE — (Clito) A man told deputies he took his brother's pit bulldog because his brother is in jail and his sister-in-law was not feeding the dog. The woman demanded the dog back.
    NORTHPOINTE MOBILE HOME PARK — (Statesboro) A woman said her ex-boyfriend took her keys and would not return them. The man told police he did so because she refused to give him his cell phone, which she took because he broke the antenna on hers.
    BRADFORD WAY —(Statesboro ) A man told deputies a woman pulled a knife on him and he defended himself. The woman, who had visible injuries, said she never had a knife but the man struck her several times with a wooden stick. The man was arrested on a child support warrant as well as aggravated assault.
    
Georgia State Patrol Incidents   
    Troopers issued 10 warnings, assisted one motorist and investigated two crashes resulting in five reported injuries Thursday.
    BULLOCH COUNTY — During the year of 2006, state troopers from Georgia State Patrol Post 45 investigated 842 crashes resulting in 576 injuries and 15 fatalities. Troopers also issued 4,317 citations, including 153 DUI arrests, 2,442 speeding  tickets, 380 seat belt violations, and 52 child restraint violations. They also issued 6,091 warnings and conducted 13 safety education presentations promoting traffic safety, said post commander Sgt. First-Class Christopher Wright.
    CANDLER COUNTY — During the year of 2006, state troopers from Georgia State Patrol Post 45 investigated 152 crashes resulting in 110 injuries and eight fatalities. Troopers also issued 1,445 citations, including 57 DUI arrests, 844 speeding  tickets, 101 seat belt violations, and 17 child restraint violations. They also issued 1,167 warnings, said post commander Sgt. First-Class Christopher Wright.
    EVANS COUNTY — During the year of 2006, state troopers from Georgia State Patrol Post 45 investigated 74 crashes resulting in 89 injuries and four fatalities. Troopers also issued 952 citations, including 38 DUI arrests, 412 speeding  tickets, 169 seat belt violations, and nine child restraint violations. They also issued 1,413 warnings and conducted two safety education presentations promoting traffic safety, said post commander Sgt. First-Class Christopher Wright.
