Statesboro Police Arrests

Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents
     KENDRICKS ROAD — (Brooklet) A woman said she went to her ex-boyfriend's house to get some things that belonged to her when he came out with a baseball bat in his hands, and told her to get off his land. When she returned with deputies the man said he was not going to give her anything     until she paid a power bill. He said she had also shattered his wind shield.
    WEST WATERS LANE —  (Clito) A man said he cut another man's water supply off for nonpayment of a water bill. The next day he learned several residents complained of no water, and found the main water supply cut off. The suspected offender (whose water had been turned off) was intoxicated when the complainant confronted him and denied turning off the water system.
    In a separate incident, the same suspected offender was arrested on battery charges.
    POPE ROAD — (Ellabell)    A woman admitted throwing a man's clothing outside because he did not come home until after 4 a.m. The man became angry, and choked her, pushing her  to the ground, she said. The man told deputies the woman struck him on  the back with a pipe as he tried leaving.
    STILL QUARTERS — (Ellabell) A man called deputies when he discovered someone shot his dog's leg off.
    NATURE WAY — (Statesboro) A woman reported someone ran over several mail boxes .
    OLD ROVER ROAD NORTH — (Statesboro) A man said a woman who lived with him began slamming doors and yelling after he went to sleep. He called deputies to have her removed.
    GREENHAVEN MOBILE HOME PARK — (Statesboro) A man said someone broke into his home and stole a plastic bucket wit $20 in change.

Animal Shelter Reports
    During the period between Dec. 29 and Jan. 4, the Statesboro-Bulloch County Animal Shelter recorded the following activity:
    Incoming animals:
    Bulloch Humane Enforcement/rural areas — one dog.
    Bulloch Humane Enforcement/Statesboro city limits — three dogs.
    Surrendered by citizens — four dogs and six cats.
    Number in litters surrendered —  21 puppies and six kittens.
    Outgoing animals:
    Shelter adoptions — four dogs and  three cats.
    Pets & People adoptions — two dogs and five cats.
    Returned to owners — three dogs.
    Died at shelter — two cats.
    Euthanized from isolation — 13 dogs and two cats.
    Humane Enforcement calls:
    Opossum complaint — one.
    Hawk complaint — two.
    Court summons or citations — five.
    Warnings issued — five.
    Money collected:
    Adoption fees — $490.
    Surrender fees — $20.
    Returned dog fines — $75
