Statesboro Police Arrests

            Micah John Smith, 20, Woodchuck Way (Hephzibah) – no proof of insurance

            Ryan Alexander Gibson, 21, Lyons Center Road (Lyons) – failure to maintain lane, driving under the influence.

            Brennan Alban Palmer, 20, Wynn Marsh Road – possession of alcohol under 21.

           

Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests

            Arrests made over the weekend will be published Tuesday.

           

Georgia State Patrol Arrests

            Walter Scott, 21, Highway 18 (Gordon) - driving under the influence (.104)

            Leroy Holloway, 42, Hollywood Drive (Hinesville) - driving under the influence (.109)

            Scott Henley, 18, Buckingham Court - underage driving under the influence (refused)

             

Georgia Southern University Arrests

            Arrests made over the weekend will be published Tuesday.

             

Statesboro Police Incidents

            E MAIN STREET – A woman tried to call multiple times even though she had been advised not to because of a previous domestic dispute.

            MADISON MEADOWS – Someone put feces on the door handle of the victims car.

            WAL-MART – Someone took a wallet from the victim’s shopping cart while she was in the clothing section of the store.

            RUCKER LANE – A man was stopped for not having his headlights on and was found to not have proof of insurance.

            SOUTH MAIN – A man found two VCR’s inside a building.

            PARKER’S ANTIQUES – The back door of the business appeared to have been kicked, in an attempted robbery. The door was damaged and nothing was reported stolen.

            LORD EYE CENTER – A one-time client has continuously attempted to contact one of the employees without her consent.

            FAIR ROAD – A driver lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree. He was arrested for DUI.

                       

Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents

            Incident reports were not available.

                                   

Georgia State Patrol Incidents

             On Friday and Saturday, Troopers issued 37 citations, 61 warnings, made two drug arrests, assisted two motorists, investigated 15 accidents and assisted four injured persons.

           

Georgia Southern University Incidents

            Incidents occurring over the weekend will be published Tuesday.

 

911 Law Enforcement Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Saturday:

            Bulloch County Sheriff's Department — 16 calls.

            Statesboro Police Department — 14 calls.

            Brooklet Police — eight calls.

            Claxton Police Department — two calls.

           

911 Fire Department Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Saturday:

            Bulloch County volunteer firefighters — one call.

            Metter Fire Department — one call.

            Claxton Fire Department — one call.

                       

911 EMS Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following call Saturday:

            Bulloch County EMS — one accident and 12 medical calls.  

            Candler County EMS — two medical calls. 

            Evans County EMS — one medical call.   

            Central 911 operators also routed one call to Bryan County and one call to Effingham County.
