Statesboro Police Incidents      

            MADISON MEADOWS — A woman reported someone scratched a "B" into her driver's side door.

            WEST MAIN STREET — Officers responded to an affray. When they arrived, one of the parties involved said the fight was over $10.

            BUTLER HOMES — A woman reported being involved in a verbal altercation with another woman. She told police the other woman rolled her car window up, trapping her arm and then pulled her for a block.

            COTTON AVENUE — A woman reported a man walked into her and then pushed her because he believes she's helping his wife see another woman.

            KMART — A man reported $61 stolen from his car.

            GROOVER LANE — A woman reported someone stole a lawn mower from her shed behind the house.

            COLLEGE BLVD. — A man reported his bicycle stolen.

            STATESBORO PLACE CIRCLE — A man reported several items in his apartment stolen.

            EAGLE CREEK TOWNHOMES — A woman reported the back door to her apartment broken and several items missing.

            HONEST JOHN PAWN SHOP —  A man reported several guns stolen from the store.

            MILLER STREET EXT. — A man reported someone has been forging checks on a closed account in his name.

            SOMERSET TOWNHOMES — A woman reported someone in Brunswick is using her driver's license number to cash checks.

 

Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents

            TEAL CIRCLE (Statesboro) — A woman reported she and her boyfriend got into a verbal argument. She said the dispute did not get physical and after tonight, they were no longer dating.

            STATESBORO (No location listed) — A woman reported attempting to pick up her son's children from another woman, but the woman would not release the children to her.

            HIGHWAY 301 SOUTH (Register) — A woman reported her son was on her property and she didn't want him there. Deputies allowed him to retrieve his belongings.

            OLD HAPPY ROAD (Statesboro) — A man reported another man took his car without his permission.

            COWBOY WAY (Statesboro) — A husband and wife reported the boyfriend of their daughter came to their home and took a dog. The boyfriend claimed the dog was his and the couple was only keeping for him until he could care for it.

            HIGHWAY 301 SOUTH (Statesboro) — A woman reported seeing a man enter a shed behind Superior Home Center and not exit. She called the Bulloch County Sheriff's Department who arrested the man and charged him with criminal trespass.

            MEMORY LANE (Statesboro) — A juvenile was arrested for underage possession of alcohol.

            WILLOW LANE (Brooklet) — A man reported medication missing from his truck following a party.

            OLD REGISTER WAY (Statesboro) — A man reported a chainsaw stolen from his home.

            BURKHALTER ROAD (Statesboro) — A man reported finding four-wheeler tracks on his property.

            POLK ROAD NORTH (Statesboro) — Deputies responded to a child custody dispute in which the mother wished to take their baby with her while the father didn't want the child to go. After discussing the matter, the child was allowed to leave with the mother.

            BRANNEN DRIVE (Statesboro) — A man reported several juveniles throwing paintballs at his car. Deputies took the four juveniles into custody where two of them admitted to throwing the paintballs. They were then turned over to their parents.

            HARMONY CHURCH ROAD (Statesboro) — A man said he returned home and then saw another man pull into his driveway. He said the man knocked on the front door and back door and both times he didn't answer. Then the man broke a window and entered the home, saying he was looking for the man's son. When informed that the son wasn't there, he left without incident. 

            OLD HAPPY ROAD (Brooklet) — Deputies responded to a car wreck in response to a complaint of simple battery and criminal damage to property. One of the men in the wreck said the two offenders got out of their vehicle and started to kick his truck and also kicked him in the head once.

           

Georgia State Patrol Incidents

            Troopers issued 60 warnings, assisted five motorists and investigated four crashes with one reported injuries Friday.

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Friday:

            Statesboro Fire Department — one calls.

            Bulloch County Volunteer firefighters — two calls.

            Metter Fire Department — one call.

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Friday:

            Bulloch County EMS — nine medical calls and one fire call.  

            Candler County EMS — three medical calls. 

            Evans County EMS — one medical call.   

            Central 911 operators also routed  two calls to Bryan County.
