Statesboro Police Arrests
    Arrests made Friday and Saturday will be published Monday.

Statesboro Police Incidents
     FOXRIDGE APARTMENTS — A female juvenile  told police a woman backed out of a parking space and almost struck her and her one-year-old son.    UNITED APPLIANCE — Someone or something shattered a glass door.
    UNIVERSITY POINTE APARTMENTS — Someone took speakers and an amplifier from a vehicle.
            
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents
     GA. 67/TIME SAVER #9 — (Statesboro) A woman said two men entered the store, and one bent ov er and picked up an item from the floor near the counter. As he stood up he said he was going to rob the store, then said he was kidding. The clerk said she told him several times to get out of the store, and when they eventually did, the two left in a red car with two females.
    HUGGINS CROSSING SUBDIVISION — (Stilson)     A woman said a Pt. Wentworth man she once dated called her and sent text messages for about two days, ever since they broke up.

    Incidents occurring Friday and Saturday will be published Monday.

Animal Shelter Reports
    The Statesboro-Bulloch County Animal Shelter reported the following activity for the week of Oct. 1-7:
    Animals received:
    Rural county areas, Bulloch Humane Enforcement — 11 dogs and four cats.
    Brooklet city limits — two dogs.
    Statesboro city limits, Bulloch Humane Enforcement — seven dogs.
    Surrendered by citizens — five dogs and three cats.
    Number in litters surrendered — 11 puppies and nine kittens.
    Animals out:
    Shelter adoptions — three dogs and a cat
    Humane Society adoptions — three dogs and four cats.
    Returned to owners — three dogs.
    Euthanized  — 14 dogs and 14 cats.
    Humane Enforcement calls:
    Snake complaint — one in the Statesboro city limits.
    Deer complaint — one in the county's rural areas.
    Raccoon complaint — three in the Statesboro city limits.
    Goat complaint — one in the rural county areas.
    Squirrel complaint — one in the rural county areas.
    Court summons/citations — seven.
    Warnings — four.
    Money collected:
    Adoption fees — $140.
    Surrender fees — $30.
    Returned animal fines — $160.
    Miscellaneous — $2.
