Of the 12 months on our calendar, February appears to be the month with several observances or events. Isn’t it ironic that the shortest month, with 28 days — 29 in a leap year — would have such a plethora of events? Presidents Day is recognized with the celebration of our first president, George Washington, known as the father of our country.
