Ogeechee OB-GYN announces the addition of Chelsea Jones Mikell, MD.  

Dr. Mikell is originally from Dahlonega, Ga. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 2010 as a First Honor Graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and minor in Anthropology. 

Dr. Mikell attended medical school at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Following graduation from medical school in 2014, she moved to Charlotte, NC, to complete residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Carolinas Medical Center.

Dr. Mikell is married to Scott Mikell, MD, from Statesboro. Scott is also a physician, trained in Family Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. They have a daughter, Helen Jean Mikell, 2.
