ä PLANT SALE will be held Saturday–Sunday at the Botanic Garden at Georgia Southern University, Bland Avenue. Hours: Saturday, 9 a.m.–3 p.m.; Sunday, 1–4 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the Garden.

ä HALLOWEEN FUN will be held Saturday at Statesboro Regional Library beginning at 2 p.m. Activities include a Costume parade and a movie.

ä NAACP BULLOCH County Branch will meet Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. at 18 North College Street. There will be a report of the Nominating Committee, receipt of nominations by petition and election of the Election Supervisory Committee.

ä LUNCH AND Learn, “Belly Biochemistry,” will be presented Nov. 1, noon-1 p.m., at the Heritage Pavilion at the Botanic Garden at Georgia Southern University, Bland Avenue.
