ä VFW POST 10825 will meet Saturday at 8 a.m. at Fordham’s Farmhouse, Highway 80 East.

ä THE BULLOCH COUNTY Historical Society will meet May 20 in the fellowship hall of Pittman Park United Methodist Church, Fair Road. Program, “Ebenezer During the Revolutionary War,” will be presented by Norman V. Turner, an Effingham County historian. A Dutch treat lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. The program begins at noon.

ä GENERAL GRIEF Support & Education Group, for anyone who has experienced the death of a loved one, will meet May 21 at 5 p.m. in the Quiet Room of Ogeechee Area Hospice.
