ä EAGLE TIME, Georgia Southern University students offering after-school activities and homework help, will be held Wednesday, 3:30–5:30 p.m., at Statesboro Regional Library. For grades K–6.

ä COOKIN’ CLASS, “Cook Once, Eat All Week,” will be held Wednesday in the Sorrier Room of Statesboro Regional Library beginning at 6 p.m.

 Thursday

ä WIDOWERS’ GRIEF Support and Education Group, for men who have experienced the death of a spouse/significant one, will meet Thursday at noon in the small conference room of Ogeechee Area Hospice.

ä COMEDY IN the Boro will be presented Thursday at the Whitaker Black Box Theater, West Main Street, beginning at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20, $15 for adults, $12 for students and available by calling (912) 212-2787 or at averittcenterforthearts.org.

 Saturday

ä VFW POST 10825 will meet Saturday at 8 a.m. at Fordham’s Farmhouse, Highway 80 East.

ä FINANCIAL LITERACY Seminar will be held Saturday, 9:30 a.m. –noon, in the Georgia Southern University William’s Center, next to the Russell Student Union. Sponsored by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

ä THE BULLOCH COUNTY Historical Society will meet April 22 in the fellowship hall of Pittman Park United Methodist Church, Fair Road. Program: Breana Stephens James will present on her research on Vietnam Veterans in Bulloch County and her exhibit, “Community and Combat: Bulloch County’s Military Heritage,” at the Bulloch County Annex building. A Dutch treat lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. The program begins at noon.

ä WIDOWS’ GRIEF Support and Education Group, for ladies who have experienced the death of a spouse/significant one, will meet April 23 at 11 a.m. in the Quiet Room of Ogeechee Area Hospice.
