Statesboro's Digital Office Equipment expands to Augusta

Statesboro-owned Digital Office Equipment recently opened an office in the Augusta market.
The new branch off Fury's Ferry Road opened in August. After the closure of Augusta-based Pronet, Digital Office Equipment took over servicing for the company's existing clients.
The Augusta move marks the third expansion the office solutions provider has accomplished since 2011 after acquiring similar businesses in Savannah and Glennville.
"We are proud of our continued growth during uncertain economic times," said Roy Blackmon, vice president of Digital Office Equipment. "We look forward to continuing this pattern of expansion."
The expansion now allows Digital Office Equipment to serve customers from Brunswick and the Golden Isles to north of Augusta in to South Carolina.
After opening in 1999, Digital Office Equipment strives to stay on the forefront of technology, offering customers efficient and economical office equipment solutions while maintaining a small business customer service approach to separate itself from big box store competition.
The new office in Augusta will follow the model of the Statesboro office, with account executives and service technicians serving the local area.
"We expect our hometown, personalized approach to win over customers in Augusta and the surrounding areas," said Brad Blackmon, COO of Digital Office Equipment. "Our business exists by taking care of other businesses and we take that very seriously here at DOE."
