The firm of Edenfield, Cox, Bruce & Classens, P.C., in Statesboro, Georgia, announce that two attorneys have become associated with their firm and will assist the firm in its major civil litigation practice.

Vera Sharon Edenfield is a 2003 graduate of Mercer Law School.  While in law school, she clerked for United States District Court Judge Hugh Lawson and Judge Charles Mikell on the Georgia Court of Appeals.  She was also selected for membership in Who’s Who in American Law Students and was President of the Mercer chapter of Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity.  She also holds an AB in Political Science from the University of Georgia and has worked as an intern for both the Carter Center and the GeorgiaLink Public Affairs Group.  Edenfield was formerly an associate with the firm of Casey Gilson Leibel in Atlanta and is a member of the Junior League of Atlanta.  She is presently the co-chair of the Leadership Academy of the Younger Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia.

Also joining the firm is Benjamin J. Colson.  Colson is a 2006 graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law.  While a student, he was a member of the Prosecutorial Clinic and the Sports Law Society.  He graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.S. with highest honors in History, Technology and Society.  While at Georgia Tech, he was elected to the Golden Key International Honor Society and held the highest grade point average of all students in his major field of study.  Colson is also a 1999 graduate of Statesboro High School.

Both Edenfield and Colson will assist the firm with its cases in the areas of business, business litigation, personal injury, condemnation, and other trial work.
