            The Rotary Club of Statesboro, a member club of Rotary International, a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders that provides humanitarian service and encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, announces the selection of a new president, eight new officers and six directors for the 2015-16 Rotary year.
        William Bolen was selected as the club's new president for the coming Rotary year beginning July 1; departing president Gary Johnson will become Chairman of the Board and Dan Snipes is President Elect.
        Also selected as officers of the club are Perry Zeigler, Secretary; Doug Collins, Treasurer; John Ray, Sergeant-at-Arms; Bland Mathews, Fellowship/Attendance; William Moore, Club Bulletin; Carl Gooding, Program; Salinda Arthur, Rotary Information; Ryan McNeal, Sunshine.
        Directors for the 2015-16 Rotary year are Jim Benton, Club Administration; Lehman Franklin, Membership; John Hatcher, Public Relations; Dewey Newton, Community Service; Russell Keen, Rotary Foundation; Joey Maxwell, Vocational Service.
        The President of Rotary International is K.R. Ravindran, Rotary Club of Colombo, Sri Lanka. District Governor is John Neely, Savannah East Rotary Club and the Assistant Governor is Billy Hickman, Downtown Statesboro Rotary Club.
        The Rotary Club of Statesboro holds weekly meetings at the Forest Heights Country Club. The object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise.
