Greg Proctor, manager for member services of Excelsior Electric Membership Corporation, was named president/CEO by the Excelsior EMC board of directors beginning April 1. Proctor, a native of Bulloch County, began working for Excelsior EMC in 1995 as energy services engineer and since 2003 has been manager for member services. Proctor said he fully understands the opportunities, as well as the unique challenges that Excelsior EMC is faced with daily.
