Kathleen Kosmoski has joined Ogeechee Technical College as the director of Resource Development and will work with the Ogeechee Tech Foundation, Inc. in support of scholarships and other programs at the College.  A native of Chicago, Kosmoski most recently worked as the executive director of the American Red Cross Chapter in Augusta, but is widely known in the Bulloch County area for her seven years of work as the chapter manager at the local Red Cross Chapter.

A graduate of Purdue University, Kosmoski has a Bachelor’s degree in Community Health and a Masters degree in Health Promotion.

“Kathleen’s background in fundraising and resource development for Red Cross makes her very qualified to work with the Ogeechee Tech Foundation in generating resources in support of Ogeechee Technical College and our students,” said Beth Mathews, vice president for Institutional Advancement at Ogeechee Tech.

In discussing her new position, Kosmoski said, “I am excited to work for an organization that gives so much back to the community, and I am very happy to once again be a part of the Statesboro and Bulloch County community.”

An outdoors enthusiast, Kosmoski loves to play and watch sports and has moved back to Statesboro with her two cats.

“After being here for seven years before, this is really like coming home,” Kosmoski said.

Dr. Dawn Cartee, Ogeechee Tech President said: “Kathleen is a welcome addition to our team here at Ogeechee Tech.  We continue to seek out individuals who will contribute to the success of the College and our students, and we are confident that Kathleen will do just that.”
