The Governmental Operations and Legislative Affairs/Programs Committee of the Statesboro-Bulloch Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a Community Breakfast Forum.

This program is designed to help raise the level of involvement in the political process, keep residents better informed on issues affecting our community and to provide residents with an opportunity to voice their opinions and concerns on various issues to their elected officials.

On Wednesday, Sept. 12, County Manager Tom Couch, Bulloch County Commission Chairman Garrett Nevil, Mayor Bill Hatcher, City Manager George Wood and Superintendent of Bulloch County Schools Dr. Lewis Holloway will be our featured speakers. This open forum will be held at R.J.'s Steakery, 434 South Main Street. The program itself will begin at 8 a.m. A full breakfast will be served. Home Builders Association of Statesboro and Statesboro Board of Realtors are the sponsors of this event.

For more information and reservations, please call Courtney Mills, director of Chamber Programs, at (912) 489-9119 or by email at courtneymills@statesboro-chamber.org.
