Deputies seeking a wanted person on Rocky Ford Road Thursday found a four-wheeler and dirt bike they said were stolen.

Charles Allen Pomar, 45, of Cross Creek Circle, was arrested on a charge of theft by receiving stolen property, Bulloch County Sheriff Lynn Anderson said in a news release issued Tuesday.

Investigators with the Statesboro-Bulloch Crime Suppression Team spoke with Pomar during their search and were given permission to search his property. Deputies found a "four wheeler with a damaged ignition switch" in the back yard, along with a dirt bike. Both were determined to have been stolen, Anderson said.

Pomar was taken to the Bulloch County Jail. The wanted person deputies were seeking was not located at the time, Anderson said.

Investigators are working to return the stolen property to its rightful owners, the sheriff said.
