A 38-year-old man who cut his father, then left Bulloch County with his wife and children after threatening to kill the children and himself, has been arrested in North Carolina, authorities said. Bulloch County sheriff's Chief Deputy Jared Akins on Tuesday confirmed a report in The Daily News of Jacksonville, North Carolina, that Daniel Howell was taken into custody there. The Bulloch County Sheriff's Office issued a be-on-the-lookout alert on Aug. 9 saying that Howell left with his family in a white 1998 Lincoln Town Car after making the threat.
