When Statesboro police saw a man walking Tuesday on North College Street, carrying the same backpack that was shown on surveillance video of the armed robbery of Subway early Monday morning, it got their attention. Members of the police department's Crime Suppression Unit officers stopped Reginald Dominique Bradford, 25, of Ellabell, Public Safety Director Wendell Turner said in a news release issued Wednesday. "CSU officers made contact with the subject and located the handgun and other evidence that linked Bradford to the robbery," Turner said.
