The Averitt Center for the Arts is teaming up with Georgia Southern University's Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art to showcase original art by local students and professional artists. The All Fired Up! event begins at 6 p.m. Thursday and runs through 4 p.m. Saturday at the Roxie Remley Center for Fine Arts on 31 E. Vine St. All artwork on display will be available for purchase, and GSU students promise that every piece is unique. The biannual event provides both Georgia Southern and Averitt art students a unique opportunity to network with the community and understand the business aspect of selling visual art.
