Automobile show to benefit seriously ill children, adults

Southern Cruisers will host its first annual Car, Truck, and Cycle Show on Saturday in Sylvania. Proceeds will benefit the Christian nonprofit charity’s mission to help seriously ill children and adults in Bulloch, Screven and surrounding counties
Registration begins at 8 a.m. at Cail Recreational Ball Field on Millen Road. Admission is $3, with children younger than 12 free, and military personnel and their families free with ID, organizer Gary Oglesby said. Handicapped persons are also admitted free.
Registration ends at 11:30 a.m., when judging begins. Door prizes will be awarded from 1-3 p.m., and awards will be announced at 3 p.m., he said.
The first 75 cars entered will receive goody bags, and trophies will be given to top winners and best of show. Categories to be judged include motorcycle class and tractor class.
Automobiles will be for sale, and a swap meet and silent auction will be held.
No alcohol or personal music is allowed.
