Elaine Schneider, who is gallery coordinator for the Averitt Center for the Arts, spent part of Thursday afternoon hanging art with Ida Waters in the second floor elevator lobby.

The two were hanging paintings created by members of the Statesboro Regional Art Association in both the second and third-floor elevator lobbies. Schneider said it would be a permanent exhibit displaying all original works of association members.

All 32 posted works are for sale and the paintings are switched out if they are sold or every three months. Both Schneider and Waters have pieces as part of the exhibit.

Call the Averitt Center for more information about the Art Association at 212-2787.
