Six juveniles, ranging in age from 9 to 14 years old, were arrested in connection with a burglary and vehicle break-in, police said. At 5:45 p.m. Dec. 1, Statesboro police Officer Sebastian Colquitt was dispatched to Whispering Pines Boulevard in reference to suspicious activity by several youths entering a garage and possibly a vehicle. The juveniles were not on scene when Colquitt arrived, but through further investigation he was able to identify and locate the juveniles and their parents, Statesboro Public Safety Director Wendell Turner said in a news release issued Tuesday afternoon.
