Ticket booths are shown waiting to be hauled away Sunday at the Kiwanis Ogeechee fairgrounds.

The 47th version of the Kiwanis Ogeechee Fair closed its six-day run Saturday and Fair chairman Darrell Colson said: "It was a smooth-running Fair week. Everything seemed to fall into place."

Sunday, workers with Amusements of America knocked down the midway rides and booths and Kiwanis members helped clean up, as well.

Colson added, "We began planning next year's Fair yesterday." Colson is chairman for the 2009 Fair, too.
