The Rotary Club of Statesboro invites students in grades 9–12 to participate in the 2017 Rotary Speech Contest. The contest encourages students to develop good public speaking skills as they compete for valuable scholarship money: First prize is $300, second is $200, and third is $100. The winner can go on to compete at the zone level for a $1,000 scholarship.
