During the second day of early voting for the Statesboro City Council, 216 individuals came out to cast their ballots - up from the 180 cast on day one. City Election Superintendent Judy McCorkle said there was a steady flow of voters all day.
Though most of the electors had no problem with the voting process and were processed rather quickly, there were still a handful of voters who weren't quite familiar with the procedures. A number of people entered an address on the absentee form that was different from the from the one listed on the voter rolls. Other people tried to vote even though they were registered to vote in either District 1 or 4. Early voting continues through Friday at city hall from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
