Last Tuesday, local leaders held their annual Wild Game Supper at the Georgia Railroad Freight Depot in Atlanta, across the street from Georgia’s capital building. A combined effort between the Georgia Southern University Foundation, the Statesboro-Bulloch Chamber of Commerce, the City of Statesboro and the Bulloch County Board of Commissioners, the event gave area leaders a chance to mix and mingle with newly-elected Gov. Nathan Deal, state representatives, senators and appointed officials from across the state.
