Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth and Lori Winters of Worthington, Minnesota, announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Nicole Winters of St. Paul, Minnesota, to Asa Shane Posner, son of David Posner and Barbara Weiss of Statesboro.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Kenneth Sr. and Maria Winters of Bingham Lake, Minnesota, and Daniel and Helenn Raverty of Windom, Minnesota. Allison is a 2004 graduate of Worthington High School and is a 2008 Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude graduate of Ripon College with bachelors degrees in theatre and English. She is employed as the public information manager for Ramsey County in St. Paul, Minnesota.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Dr. Sigmund and Doris Posner of Longmeadow, Massachusetts, and Longboat Key, Florida, and Samuel and Shirley Weiss of Clifton, New Jersey. Asa is a 2004 graduate of Statesboro High School and is a 2008 summa cum laude graduate of Emory University with a bachelor's in environmental studies. He is currently employed as a senior sustainability consultant with Sustainable Investment Group in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
    The couple is planning to wed on August 28, 2015, at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chaska, Minnesota.
