Mr. and Mrs. Steven A. (Lisa S.) Williams of Statesboro, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Alana, to Joe Robert Williams II, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe R. (Pam) Williams, also of Statesboro.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. Barney Williams and Mrs. Margie B. Williams of Statesboro and the late Mr. Larry Skinner and Ms. Jane W. Odom of Statesboro. Stephanie is a 2004 graduate of Statesboro High School. She graduated from Georgia Southern University in December 2008 with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. In May 2012, she received her M.Ed. in Teaching and Learning. Stephanie is currently employed with Georgia Southern University.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. Doy Knight and Mrs. Mary D. Knight of Portal, Ga., and the late Mr. Alfred H. Williams and Mrs. Margie L. Williams of Portal. Joe is a 2004 graduate of Statesboro High School. He graduated from Georgia Southern University in May 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and a minor in Business Administration. He is currently employed with United Parcel Services and Statesboro-Bulloch County Parks and Recreation.
    The couple has planned to wed on Saturday, October 26, 2013, at 5:30 p.m. at the Belle House in Statesboro.
