Janet and Don Whitsett of Pasadena, Texas, announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Dr. Donna Dawn Whitsett, to William Gardner Cone III, son of  Tanya and William Gardner Cone Jr., of Griffin, Georgia.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Gladys and Julius Enwiller of Rosholt, South Dakota. Her paternal grandparents were the late Mary Katherine Kameyer of New Port, Kentucky, and Francis L. Whitsett of Indiana. Donna graduated from the University of Houston and received her Ph.D. from the University of Washington and she is employed in the energy efficiency field.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Irma and Steve Mihalko of Hinesville and Griffin, Georgia. His paternal grandparents are O'Neal Cone and the late William Gardner Cone Sr. of Statesboro, Georgia. Will graduated from Griffin High School and Georgia Tech, with a degree in International Affairs and a minor in Chemistry. He is employed in the T.V. and film production field.
    Will and Donna will marry September 3rd, 2011, at Lake Crescent in Washington state.
