Gin Starling and Jeff McPhail were united in marriage on May 5, 2012, at their home in Millen, Ga. The private ceremony was performed by the Rev. Pete Wall, the bride’s uncle.
    The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mickey Starling and is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roland Starling and the late Mr. and Mrs. Virgil McElveen, all of Brooklet, Ga.
    The groom is the son of Mr. Walter McPhail and Ms. Christine McPhail of Seneca, S.C., and is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. W.H. McPhail of Seneca, S.C., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Gross of Sarasota, Fla.
    The couple exchanged vows under an orchard of pecan trees in their backyard.
    The bride’s sister-in-law, Jennifer Starling, was the matron of honor and the groom’s father, Walter McPhail, served as the best man. The bride’s niece, Jaci Starling, and the groom’s niece, Meredith Dudley, served as the flower girls. The bride’s nephew, Hunter Starling, and the groom’s nephew, Will Dudley, served as ring bearers.
    The couple honeymooned in Kauai, Hawaii.
