    Mr. and Mrs. John N. Rushing III of Statesboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Darby Rushing, to Bryan Lee Stamey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Stamey of Griffin, Georgia.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Betty Rushing and the late John N. Rushing Jr. and the late Charles Lindbergh Reed and Sara Butler Reed Rexroade. Jessica is a 2003 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School and a 2008 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a BS in recreation. She is employed by Brown Rountree, PC.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold Stamey and the late Mr. and Mrs. Chester Myers. Bryan is a 2003 honor graduate of Spaulding County High School and is currently pursuing a degree in manufacturing engineering at Georgia Southern University. He is employed at Georgia Southern University.
    The couple is planning to wed on October 10, 2015, at 3 p.m. at the Statesboro First United Methodist Church.
    No local invitations are being sent. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
