    Mr. and Mrs. Ray Robbins of Statesboro announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Joni Lorain Robbins, to Tyler James Marzofka, son of Bruce Marzofka of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, and Patty and Bob Davis of Cumming, Ga.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Eugene and Kathleen Mincey of Brooklet and the late Bobby Robbins and the late Joyce and Inman Olliff of Statesboro. She is the great-granddaughter of the late Ben and Nora Barnwell and the late Truman and Queen Mincey, all of Brooklet, the late Jack and Billie Beasley and the late Sam and Nan Robbins, all of Statesboro. Joni is a 2005 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School and a 2010 graduate of Augusta State University, with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. Joni is employed with the YMCA and Rick Milton Photography of Augusta, Ga.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of David and Waneta Spurgin of Cumming, Ga., and Ralph Marzofka and the late Geraldine Marzofka of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. He is also the grandson of Joe and Vada Bell of The Villages, Florida, and the late Robert C. Davis of Crystal River, Fla. He is the great-grandson of the late Dewey and Ruth Spurgin of Alvin, Ohio, and Frank and Edith Cline of Acres Field, Calif., and the late Herman and Margaret Reber and the late Avolt and Wilma Marzofka, all of Rudolph, Wis. Tyler is a 2004 graduate of Forsyth Central High School and a 2009 graduate of Augusta State University, with a Bachelor's degree in Communications and a 2010 graduate of the Regional Police Academy in Blythe, Ga. Tyler is employed with the Columbia County Police Department in Evans, Ga.
    The couple has planned an August 28, 2010, wedding at 5:30 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church in Nevils, Ga.
