Mr. and Mrs. Craig Rigdon of Statesboro are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Aleta A. Rigdon, to Justin W. Hodges, son of Chuck and Dawn Hodges of Alpharetta.
    The couple met at their alma mater, Georgia Southern University, in Statesboro while attending an English class required by their major in the spring of 2011.
    The future bride recently received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature from Georgia Southern University and is currently working in human resources and recruiting for an IT company in Alpharetta.
    The future groom is pursuing a master's of education degree and is currently teaching English Literature and Latin at North Forsyth High School in Cumming.
    The couple is to be wed at Amicalola Falls in Dawsonville, Georgia, on November 15, 2014.
