    Mr. and Mrs. Phil S. Rhodes of Millen are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Adrian Elizabeth of Statesboro, to Mr. Ronald Gene McDaniel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gene D. McDaniel.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. George B. Perry Sr. of Girard, Georgia, and Mrs. Doris Rhodes and the late Mr. Steve Paul Rhodes of Perkins, Georgia. She is a 2005 graduate of Jenkins County High School and a 2013 graduate of Darton State College in Albany, Georgia, with an Associate's of Science in nursing. She is currently employed as a registered nurse in the Emergency Department at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Kruse Sr. of Fremont, Nebraska, and Mr. and Mrs. Gene D. McDaniel Sr. of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He is a 2004 graduate of the Charter School. After graduating high school, he entered the United States Marine Corps. Mr. McDaniel served his country with two tours in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2007 and 2009. He returned home to Statesboro in 2010 after an honorable discharge. He is currently employed with DSI Security of Dothan, Alabama, and works at East Georgia Regional Medical Center.
    The couple plans to wed April 11, 2015, at 4 p.m. at Beaver Creek Plantation in Twin City.
    All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
