Mr. and Mrs. Antoine Nikko Bowden

    Ashley Olivia Postell and Antoine Nikko Bowden were united in holy matrimony on Saturday, April 16, 2011, at 3:00 in the afternoon. The Reverend Ron Butler of Knoxville, Tenn., officiated the double-ring ceremony in the "Garden of Love" in Pine Needle Hills in Statesboro, Georgia.
    The Rev. Butler opened the ceremony with a welcome and prayer and the Rev. Alton Hobbs read a scripture on love. Music was provided by the Revs. Frankie and Jean Owens of Statesboro and Michael Benefield of Jacksonville, Fla.
    The bride is the daughter of Curtis L. Postell of Waycross, Ga., and the Rev. Alton Hobbs and Dr. Carolyn Postell Hobbs of Statesboro. She is the granddaughter of Mr. Ceverio Milton and Mrs. Maudie Milton of Savannah, Ga., the late Curtis Postell, Izola Cobb of Waycross and Tera Hobbs of Metter, Ga.
    The groom is the son of Rhonda Chambers of Knoxville, Tenn., and Mr. Mcghee and Mrs. Yolanda Bowden of Jacksonville, Fla. He is the grandson of Carolyn Chambers of Knoxville, Ethel Bowden of Nashville, Tenn., Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Polite of Montezuma, Ga., and Jewel Cason of Knoxville.
    The bride was escorted by and given into marriage by her father, Curtis L. Postell. She was attended by Andrea Z. Postell of Atlanta, Ga., who was maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Annelle Chambers of Knoxville, Khadija Everett and Daneesha Ford of Jacksonville and Treco Green of Statesboro. The junior bridesmaid was Daija Smith of Jacksonville. The flower girl was Aniyah Bowden of Jacksonville.
    The groom was attended by best men John Funches and McGhee Bowden, father of the groom, of Jacksonville. The groomsmen were Phillip Everett, Alton Tremaine Ford and Terrance Kinard of Jacksonville, Chris Douglas of Knoxville and Thomas Patterson of Beaufort, S.C. The junior groomsman was Dorian Bowden of Jacksonville. The ring bearer was Derrex Smith of Jacksonville.
    The hostesses were Dr. Natashia Conley of Birmingham, Ala., Tiffany Milton of Atlanta and Catovia Rayner of Orlando, Fla.
    The ushers were Errius Bowden of Jacksonville, Torrey Chambers of Knoxville and Leslie Neal of Saginaw, Mich.
    Following the ceremony, a reception was hosted by the parents of the bride in the "Garden of Love" amid pines, dogwoods, azaleas, roses, ivy, ferns, lilies of the valley and myrtle.
    The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents at Fordham's Restaurant in Statesboro.
    After a honeymoon in Niagara Falls, Canada, the couple resides in metro Jacksonville, Fla.
