Sara Elizabeth Pheasant David Alan Reed

       Sara Elizabeth Pheasant and David Alan Reed were united in marriage at six o'clock in the evening on Saturday, May 29, 2010, at Isle of Hope United Methodist Church in Savannah, Georgia. The Rev. C. Dick Reese officiated.
       The bride is the daughter of Gary and Anne Pheasant of Atlanta, Ga. She is the granddaughter of Marilyn Pheasant and the late David Pheasant of Rochester, New Hampshire, and the late Donald and Jane Rice of Atlanta, formerly of northern Kentucky.
       The groom is the son of Charles and Marsha Reed and the late Susan Reed of Sylvania, Ga. He is the grandson of the late David and Anne Reed of Sylvania and the late Raleigh and Cornelia Moseley of Stockbridge, Ga.
       The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She chose her sister, Katherine Pheasant of Florianopolis, Brazil, to serve as her maid of honor.
       Bridesmaids were Christie Reed of Augusta, sister of the groom; Sally Credille of Auburn, Alabama, Mary Doornbos of Louisville, Kentucky, Kristen Kulavic of Jackson, Mississippi, Natalie Loureiro of Washington, D.C., Kathryn Metcalf of New York, New York, Carey-Elizabeth Pelt of Atlanta, Frances Ruskin of Mableton, Ga., and Andrea Lee-Tse of Woodstock, Ga., friends of the bride. The flower girl was Janie Rice of New York, N.Y., cousin of the bride.
       The groom chose William Kimbrough of London, England, to serve as his best man. Groomsmen were John Mark Goodman of Birmingham, Ala., Edward Green of Bogart, Ga., J.R. Lederer of New York, N.Y., Mazen Mansur of Suwanee, Ga., Andrea Paganelli of Valdottavo, Italy, Delcom Parker of Sylvania and Miles Treakle of Silver Spring, Maryland, friends of the groom.
       Reader for the ceremony was Meredith Ragains of Atlanta, cousin of the groom. Vocalist was Laura Siler of Athens, Ga., friend of the bride. She was accompanied by organist Duke Miles of Savannah, Ga.
       The bride's parents hosted a reception immediately following the ceremony at the Olde Pink House in Savannah.
Following their honeymoon in French Polynesia, the couple now resides in Atlanta.
