Mr. Willie Frank Parks and Patricia Ann Parks and Catherine Okunbor announce the engagement of their children, Felicia Parks of Grantville, Ga., to Osaze Okunbor of Benin City, Nigeria.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. David and Annie Josie Parks of Luthersville, Ga., and Mr. Joe Henry Mitchell and Azalena Mitchell of Greenville, Ga. Felicia is a 1997 graduate of Greenville High School. Upon graduating magna cum laude from Georgia Southern University, she has tirelessly worked to advocate and improve the lives of those with developmental disabilities.

The groom-elect is also the son of the late Mr. Isaac Okunbor. He is the grandson of the late Mr. Enogieru Okunbor and Mrs. Omozee Okunbor of Benin City, Nigeria, and Mrs. Janet Eguaveon and the late Mr. Joseph Eguaveon of Uselu, Benin City. Osaze is a 1997 graduate of Greater Tomorrow Secondary School. He graduated with honors in electrical engineering from the University of Benin.

The couple will wed on March 5, 2016, at 3 p.m. at the Whitesville Full Gospel Church in Statesboro, Ga., with Bishop Larry Jones officiating. The reception will follow immediately afterward at the Grace Community Center.
