Kara "Shae" Olliff and Kevin Lee Deal

    Greg and Tonya Olliff of Statesboro are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kara "Shae" Olliff, to Kevin Lee Deal, son of Ken and Cathy Deal of Statesboro.
    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Evelyn Deal Kirby and the late James Gaston Kirby of Swainsboro. Shae is a 2009 graduate of Portal Middle High School and a 2009 graduate of Ogeechee Technical College with a Master Cosmetologist degree. She is currently pursuing an RN degree at East Georgia State College and is employed at Tonya's Cuttin' Up Beauty Salon.
    The groom-elect is the grandson of Allison and Sue Deal of Statesboro and the late Hugh and Margaret Braddy of Statesboro. A 2006 graduate of Statesboro High School, Kevin is a 2007 graduate of Ogeechee Technical College with a Precision Agriculture Specialist Certification and a 2009 graduate of OTC with an Associate degree in Applied Science in Agribusiness. He is employed with the United States Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency of Bulloch/Candler County.
    The couple has planned to wed on October 12, 2013, at 5 p.m.
    While they have elected to have a private ceremony with family, the couple invites all friends to join them in celebration at a reception following the ceremony at the home of Greg and Tonya Olliff at 7 p.m.
