Mr. and Mrs. John C. Meyers of Statesboro celebrated their 72nd Wedding Anniversary on July 19, 2012, at their home. The couple was married on July 19, 1940, in Charleston, S.C. They have two children, John C. Meyers Jr. of Pasadena, Maryland, and Shirley M. D'Amico of Baker, Louisiana; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
