Mr. and Mrs. John Henry Martin III and Mr. and Mrs. Dan Greenway of Brooklet announce the engagement of their daughter, Marion Ansley Martin of Brooklet, to Kyle Jeffrey Shedd, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Herren and Mr. Jeffrey Shedd.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Alice Davis and the late Marion Davis and Opal Chalker and the late John Henry Martin Jr. Ansley is a 2011 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School, a graduate of the Paul Mitchell School of Atlanta and is a master cosmetologist at 30 Volume Salon in Statesboro.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Billy and Flora Shedd and Robert and Bernice Nowakowski. Kyle is a 2008 homeschool graduate, a student at Georgia Southern University, a certified crop advisor and the agronomy operations manager for Southern States Cooperative in Statesboro.

The couple has planned to wed on October 15, 2016, at 5 p.m. at Hill Farm, located at 1221 Bell Road, Brooklet, Ga.
