Bob and Christa MaGaw of Bonaire, Ga., announce the engagement of the daughter, Lindsey Christine MaGaw of Statesboro, to Matthew Stephen McCown, son of Laymon and Joy McCown of Statesboro.
    Lindsey is the granddaughter of Randall and Patricia Meachan of Bonaire and the late Robert and Julia MaGaw of Warner Robins. Lindsey graduated from Houston County High in 2001 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Georgia Southern University.
    Matt is the grandson of Robbie Stephens and the late W.W. Stephens and Bill and Jean Lee of Statesboro. Matt graduated from Statesboro High School in 2003 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management. He is currently attending GSU to obtain a Master's degree in Business.
    The wedding is planned for 3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 2010, at Meinhardt Vineyards.
