Sarah Christian Lynch and Iurii Likhtanskyi were united in marriage at 2:30 in the afternoon on Saturday, March 31, 2012. The double-ring ceremony was performed by Dr. James Correll at Register Baptist Church in Register, Georgia.
    The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Lynch of Statesboro, Ga., and the granddaughter of Mrs. Sandra Ellwood and the late Mr. Eugene Ellwood and Mr. and Mrs. Jamie Manley of Statesboro and Mr. George D. Lynch and the late Phara Lynch of Statesboro.
    The groom is the son of Mrs. Mariia Ignatiivna Likhtanska of Zhytomyr, Ukraine.
    Music was provided by Mrs. Rebecca Goines, pianist.
    The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father.
    Lindi Sullivan, aunt of the bride, served as matron of honor. The groom was attended by his close friend, Tim Miller, as best man.
    Immediately following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception in the social hall of Register Baptist Church.
    The couple honeymooned at Portofino Bay Resort in Florida and now resides in Valdosta, Ga.
