Mr. and Mrs. Marquard Lett Jr. of Hackettstown, New Jersey, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Wimberly Lett of Augusta, Georgia, to Mr. Aaron Lee Peters of Windom, Minnesota. He is the son of Mrs. Cindy Christopherson of Hector, Minnesota, and Mr. and Mrs. Myron Peters of Windom, Minnesota.
    Lauren is a 2008 graduate of the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She is currently employed as a registered nurse in the emergency room at MCG. The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of Lt. Col. (Ret.) and Mrs. Robert Joseph Dannacher of Statesboro, Georgia, and is the paternal granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Read of Bartow, Florida, and the late Mr. Marquard Y. Lett.
    Aaron is a 2008 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physician's Assistant and holds a masters degree in Physician's Assistant from the University of Nebraska. He is employed as a physician's assistant in the emergency room at MCG. The groom-elect is the maternal grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Hughes of Hector, Minn., and is the paternal grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Peters of Windom, Minn.
    The couple has planned to wed on August 13, 2011, at 6:30 in the evening at Presbyterian Westminster Church in Augusta. A reception will follow at The Lodge on Heath.
