Megan Nicole Lane of Millen and Beau Ansley Deal of Statesboro were united in marriage during a 5:30 p.m. ceremony held on Sept. 30, 2017, on the island of Beaver Creek Plantation, in Twin City, Georgia. The Rev. Butch Taylor officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Richard and Tina Lane of Millen and is the granddaughter of Evelyn Lane and the late Grady Lane of Millen and the late Neil Casey Sr. and Christine Casey of Millen and the late Preston Taylor of Millen.
The groom is the son of Al Deal and Marsha Deal and is the grandson of Marguerite Perkins and the late Laurace Perkins of Brooklet and the late Carl Deal Sr. and Carrie Bell Deal.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory strapless sweetheart lace gown with a detachable train and a cathedral veil. She carried a bouquet of white roses, hydrangeas and burgundy dahlias wrapped in ivory ribbon.
Haley Anderson, cousin of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Shannon Lane, Katrina Davis, Meghan Williams, Shelby Forehand, Morgan Cox, Megan Owens and Jada Lee. Kinsleigh Anderson served as flower girl.
John Douglas Newton served as best man. Groomsmen were Bryce Lane, brother of the bride; Ben Newton, Tyler Miller, Lyn Perkins, Joel Bettis, Corey Owens and Casey Lee. Slade Anderson was ring bearer.
Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception at Beaver Creek Plantation.
The couple honeymooned in St. Lucia and will reside in Statesboro.
