Ms. Brenda J. Clemmons of Statesboro, Georgia, announces the engagement of her daughter, Tiffany Leigh Johnson of Statesboro, to Stephen Travis Smith Jr., son of Ms. Janet Fox Smith and the late Mr. Stephen T. Smith Sr.
    The bride elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Johnson of Statesboro. She attended Georgia Southern University and is currently employed by HeritageBank of the South in Statesboro.
    The groom's paternal grandparents are the Rev. Lucious L. Smith and the late Mrs. Lillian G. Smith of Savannah. His maternal grandparents are Mrs. Louise Fox and the late Mr. George Fox of Richmond Hill. He is a member of Local Union 188 and is co-owner of  Smith Industrial Contracting.
    The couple plans to wed on Saturday, October 1, 2011, at 4 p.m. at Corinth Baptist Church in Richmond Hill.
